Crops & odds

Brill's lake home - Jackson Michigan, far away from my house/work - Porto Alegre,Brasil.

My intention is pretty simple - to writte down some thoughts that cross my mind, in English and Portuguese, according to my mood, minhas lembrancas, or whatsoever emerges from my neural network! It has to be a sort of crops & odds as thoughts don't come down to paper as easily as they seem to come to mind! You see, you can think a thought but your neural inhibitions, fired by cognitive or emotional network starting up, won't allow you to writte them down as they come to conscious mind! It does not mean that they don't come out in writting only because the common sense advises you I should re-think them. Sometimes it is an excessive auto criticism, sometimes you don't know why. At the same time, the mixture of language & culture mixes up your day by day life, your dreams , your reality, your procrastinations, your obligations... and you feel you should simply crop them out from your concious mind. And amazingly,the odds will emerge sometimes when you not even know why!! That's when the free association is so powerful. The unconscious underpinnings will know exactly what goes on ... The thing is, you are not always ready to let it emerge....

My today's friend, former psychotherapist, Dr Barros, once said my way of mixing writtings in Portugues e Ingles lembrava Frida Kahlo's writtings. Well, I took it as a compliment, and don't feel embarased anymore!

Minha intencao inicial e escrever sobre como vejo a vida de ex-patriada; um pouco do que me chama atencao no dia a dia; um pouco sobre minhas grandes paixoes academico-profissionais - neuropsychoanalysis and autism spectrum disorders.

Let's see where the stream will take me! Don't believe it will stop here... just will follow minha prontidao entre pensar e deixar fluir para o papel...
